The Santa Fe Margarita Trail was dreamed up in 2016 and now has around 50 unique margarita stops. - Izanami Restaurant at Ten Thousand Waves Japanese Spa, which also happens to be one of our favorite Santa Fe restaurants, makes a delicious stop along the Santa Fe Margarita Trail. Their menu features traditional Japanese Izakaya, but the real star is the sudachi margarita.
- Enjoy an authentic New Mexican meal at the historic Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant, and while there, savor their delicious prickly pear margarita.
- Skyfire, the signature restaurant at Bishop’s Lodge, is an upscale stop on the Santa Fe Margarita Trail. They have many great cocktails on their menu, but the holy margarita is the one to try here.
- AGAVE Lounge at the Eldorado Hotel is another excellent upscale venue. Here, don’t miss the Eldorado oro margarita.
- For your next stop on the Santa Fe Margarita Trail, head to the Anasazi Restaurant, Bar, and Lounge and try the Sandia y Pepino margarita.
- One of our favorite Santa Fe restaurants is the Coyote Cafe & Rooftop Cantina, where they serve up a popular Norteño margarita.
- It’s hard to argue with a great Italian restaurant and piano bar, especially when they serve up a delicious margarita as Osteria D’Assisi Ristorante Italiano & Piano Lounge does. Try their margarita L’Amante.
- At the Secreto Lounge, the best margarita to get is the smoked sage margarita.
- The Compound Restaurant, one of the many world-class restaurants in Santa Fe, is also well-known for its margaritas, especially its poblanito margarita.
- Finally, head to The Shed Restaurant, where you’ll find our final stop on the Santa Fe Margarita Trail. The featured concoction here is the Codigo coin margarita.
