What Will You See at This Outdoor Gallery?
Allan Houser was one of Santa Fe’s most renowned artists known for his drawings, paintings, notable sculptures. He purchased a 50-acre plot of land located just south of Santa Fe, where you can visit some of his most famous works during your trip. The Allan Houser Sculpture Garden features a group of studios and a beautiful outdoor area that you can explore during a tour of the grounds. The outdoor garden displays over 80 of his works ranging from abstract to representational. Among his most notable works are Abstract Orange and his collection of bronze owls. While this is the highlight of this major artistic hub outside of the City Different, you can also tour the collection of studios where you can see a showcase of Houser’s paintings and drawings.

When Should You Visit?
The Allan Houser Sculpture Garden does not have normal hours like most art galleries here in the City Different. It is open by appointment only. You can call (505) 471-1528 to book a tour or event at this incredible art venue!
Where Is the Allen Houser Sculpture Garden?
Although most of Santa Fe is within walking distance of our Inn, you will need to drive to the Allan Houser Sculpture Garden. It’s about a 30-minute drive south of the city and is a great place to stop before exploring the Tourquoise Trail.
