What is the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta?
The Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta is a celebration of the city’s most popular native ingredient paired with a collection of wineries from New Mexico and several other states on the West Coast. Local restaurants put on a culinary show using chiles as a staple in a variety of cuisines, ranging from traditional New Mexican to Asian fusion. A panel of guest chefs infuse their flavors and creativity into dishes and wineries host wine seminars throughout the weeklong event. There are several tasting events, a golf tournament, a film viewing with food and wine tasting, and guest chef luncheons.
When Is It?
Guest can experience the 2019 Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta from September 22nd to September 29th. Tickets go on sale for all events on July 5th. We encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as you can, especially the grand tasting at the gorgeous Santa Fe Opera House. Trust us; you won’t want to miss this incredible festival.
Where Is It?
This weeklong festival takes place at various locations around town. The Santa Fe Convention Center acts as the main base for larger activities with smaller events like the guest chef luncheons taking place at restaurants throughout the heart of the city. The golf tournament typically occurs on the scenic course at Towa Golf Club. The crown jewel of the week is the grand tasting at the Santa Fe Opera House, where the combination of food and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains is second to none.
